Mike D’Antoni

Mike D’Antoni, who grew up in New Orleans, and has settled down in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia, is a full-time singer, songwriter, musician, arranger, and music teacher, and has performed music in front of people since he was 12. Having sung and played Dixieland, Rock, Folk, and Pop down in the “Big Easy,” he’s opened for both Fats Domino, and “Soul Queen of New Orleans” Irma Thomas, and has played with “Ya Ya” fame Lee Dorsey.

Mike specializes in fingerstyle guitar, using the warm sound of a traditional nylon stringed classical. His innovative guitar fingerings and harmonies, coupled with thought provoking lyrics, make for fresh, original songs. Always looking for a chance to spread music, make folks laugh, and show off, Mike is a real treat to have at any event where people gather.

Mike will be performing at the JABA Lunch Picnic on September 30th.
